This Crunchy Cabbage Salad is simple to make, tastes amazing and healthy. This salad can be made ahead and tastes delicious when served with tofu, falafel, tacos, burgers or any veggie bowls. This salad tastes great when coated with a delicious sesame dressing. I use store bought Broccoli slaw which makes this recipe quicker. 

This crunchy cabbage salad holds up good in the refrigerator for almost a week and still tastes delicious every time you eat. 

What you’ll need to make Crunchy Cabbage Salad with Sesame Dressing

For Crunchy Cabbage Salad –

  • Broccoli Slaw
  • Purple Cabbage
  • Roasted Garbanzo Beans
  • Roasted Sesame Seeds
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt

For Sesame Dressing –

  • Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Olive Oil
  • Sesame Oil
  • Rice Vinegar
  • Maple Syrup
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper

How to make Crunchy Cabbage Salad with Sesame Dressing with step by step photos & instructions

1. For the Sesame Dressing – Combine all the dressing ingredients in a mason jar, cover with lid and shake well.

2. For Crunchy Cabbage Salad – Add all the salad ingredients in a bowl, toss them all together until well combined. 

3. Drizzle with sesame dressing and serve!

Notes

  • You can add more protein like edamame seeds or tofu.
  • You can also add crunchy chow mein noodles for extra crunchiness.
  • In the dressing, you can substitute greek yogurt with mayo or vegan mayo.

  • For Crunchy Cabbage Salad -
    11/2 cup Broccoli Slaw

For Sesame Dressing –
