JUMP TO RECIPE

These Cream Cheese Chocolate Truffles are a perfect treat for any day. These truffles have a rich and deep flavor. These are so easy to make and no cooking or baking involved. You’ll just need a handful of ingredients to make these truffles and can be done just under 30 minutes.

These Cream Cheese Chocolate Truffles make a great gift for Valentine’s Day or Anniversary or any kind of occasion. They can also be served just as dessert. This recipe makes 16 bite-sized truffles but the count can be doubled depending on the size you choose to make your truffles.

For the toppings there are so many options you could play around. My most favorite toppings are chopped pistachios, chopped hazelnuts, grated coconut and cocoa powder. You can also use toppings like oreo crumbs, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, chocolate sprinkles and chopped pecans.

What you’ll need to make Cream Cheese Chocolate Truffles

  • Cream Cheese
  • White Chocolate Chunks
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Lime Juice
  • Pistachios
  • Dark Chocolate Melts
  • Toppings – Cocoa Powder, Grated Coconut, Sprinkles, Chopped Hazelnuts

How to make Cream Cheese Chocolate Truffles with step by step photos & instructions

1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

2. Stir in powdered sugar, melted white chocolate and chopped pistachios. Cover and keep in refrigerator for 5 minutes.

3. Line a plate with parchment paper, scoop 1 tablespoon cream cheese chocolate mixture and line them on the parchment paper.

4. Cover and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes.

5. Roll and shape them into 1 inch round balls. Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.

7. Now, dip each truffle in the chocolate melt until coated well, place them on the parchment sheet and sprinkle the toppings of your choice.

8. Repeat the same with melted white chocolate too.

9. Refrigerate the truffles until ready to serve.

Notes

  • These cream cheese truffles need to be in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • You can also use dark chocolate or milk chocolate as a substitute for white chocolate in truffles.
  • You need to chill the truffle mixture before and after you roll into balls to avoid sticking to your hands and to get a perfect round shape.
