About Daily Food Hacks
Daily Food Hacks Blog is all about making delicious, vegetarian cooking both quick and easy. Here, you’ll find recipes for food-lovers who are always on the go—they can all be whipped up in 30 minutes or less! Most of the recipes I share are easy to prepare, healthy, wholesome and most importantly delicious.
Here are few reasons I think you’ll love in my blog, whether you’re an experienced chef or just starting out as a beginner:
- Quick hacks & tips – I always love to cook delicious, healthy food but also want to get the job done faster and easier. This is why I included quick hacks in all(almost) my recipes to cook a recipe in or under 30 minutes. Also I included some tips to make any improvements that can make the recipe more easy or flavorful and substitutes to some of the ingredients.
- Mostly made recipes – I make a lot of dishes but the recipes in this blog are all my favorites and I make them very often. Every recipe here was made many times before and would be made again. If I wouldn’t eat it or serve it, you won’t find it in my blog.
- Step-by-step instructions with photos – When I started cooking new recipes I’ve never made or heard before, I was not sure of many things like how do I know when it is halfway cooked? When to add spices to a dish when cooking? My goal in creating this blog is to solve this problem for people by including photos to each step of the recipe. I have step-by-step photos included for most of my recipes that have a lot of ingredients to be used. This can help to avoid going back and forth through the number of steps in a recipe.
About Me
Hey there! I am Kamala Manasa. I’m the recipe-maker and photographer behind “Daily Food Hacks”. For me food is everything fun – making it, eating it and even making a mess of it!
I am currently a homemaker, previously I worked as a Software Engineer and now staying home to take care of my lovely family. I started to cook when I was 7 years old. I used to help my mom a lot in the kitchen and she is my inspiration.
Cooking has been my passion since my childhood. I love to cook for myself, family and friends. When it comes to a party or a family get together, I always approach for the right menu and right meals. I consider myself a master in this field because I believe I know the right mix of ingredients even if they are not explicitly mentioned in the recipe. I spend several hours searching for tips on the web and exploring recipes of well known experts around the world.
I’m married to a Software Engineer who works way too hard and way too much but he’s so loving that I let his insane hours slide. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area, California with our baby girl. She is adorable, beautiful, smart for her age and a very naughty two year old kid. She loves to eat anything spicy just like her mom! But my husband has a sweet tooth.
When I’m not cooking, I’d love to pamper and play with my little girl, painting, go out for a walk, go for long drives with my family, grow my own herbs and flowers and DIY home projects.
